Requirements:
To design and build a vial tray loading system, receiving vials at 200 PPM.
The System incorporates a FIFO serpentine conveyor, scroll feed system, robotic pick and place, robotic tray loading and robotic feeding.
The system was linked to two friction feeders, for leaflet and booklet feeding.
Finally the trayed vials, leaflet and booklet transfer into a cartoner with glue closure.
Technology used:
Fanuc Robotics, Keyence vision systems, West PCR2020 vision system (for pharma code verification and reject),
Nordson glue unit, SMC Pneumatics, Pro-face HMI and WAGO PLC.
